Established in 1978, Wedgetail Rack is a third-generation, family-owned business proudly manufactured in Bayswater, Victoria. With over 46 years of experience, we’ve perfected the art of designing and building roof racks that are tough enough to handle all of Australia’s roads, from highways to the harshest outback trails.

Originally founded as Tradesman Engineering in a small factory in Huntingdale, our journey has been one of constant growth and innovation. We transitioned to Tradesman Roof Racks and finally became Wedgetail Rack, with a commitment to staying at the forefront of roof rack design and technology. In 2010, we moved to our current, larger facility in Bayswater to meet the demands of our expanding range of commercial, recreational, and SUV roof racks.
